Kayla is new to track and field, and is a very promising athlete. She seems to be making a strong impact on the Midget Girls team. She has the benefit of a long stride, but also has good speed. And she has a great work ethic to boot, and a great attitude.

"Kayla is making great progress as an athlete on the track. We believe she has great intangibles to be a long sprinter, and has the potential to develop the strength to also flirt with middle distance races, like the 800m. We'll be experimenting with her early in the season to see her athletic abilities, but we feel firm in that she has the skills to be very good at whatever she decides to do. We just need to nurture those skills to bring out the best in her", says Coach Charles.
