Ramel was an inspiration to the team last year because even though he was the smallest athlete, he displayed the biggest heart in leading off our Bantam 4x400m relay. He started late in the season, but steadily progressed as one of our most valuable athletes. He also made the regional finals in the 100m at the AAU Area 6 Championship.

"Ramel truly inspired me last season. And this year, he looks great! I anticipate Ramel will pick up right where he left off last season and make tremendous strides. I would not be surprised if he makes the finals in multiple events this season, and qualifies for Nationals individually. Nobody has a bigger heart when it comes to competing! And I'm proud to be his coach", says Coach Charles.
